BOBBY HEFFERNAN

About

Bobby Heffernan’s work explores the fragility of memory – how we access it and connect with it through materials and composition. He is fascinated by how art interacts with space and how that perception can be reshaped. Heffernan’s pieces blur the line between art and the everyday, leaving viewers questioning whether they are looking at a deliberate creation or the beauty of the ordinary.

Heffernan lives and works in London. He graduated with a BA from City and Guilds of London Art School in 2022. Recent exhibitions and projects include Grand Opening 2.0, Albert Contemporary (Odense, Denmark, 2024), Albert Contemporary residency at Micheal Kvium’s studio (Avnø, Denmark, 2023) Just a bunch of string, Hypha Studios (London, UK, 2023) Transistor, group show curated by Kit Reynolds (London, UK, 2023) Past awards include Sir Denis Mohan sculpture project grant and the David Ballardie travel prize award.
